    Inside the Classroom: A Glimpse of CRJ 102-Criminal Admin Procedures

    Course Description: This Criminal Justice course will provide an introduction to criminal law and the legal system. Topics covered include the history and structure of the American legal system, the role of government in defining conduct as criminal, the elements of a crime, criminal culpability, various defenses, specific constitutional amendments, searches and seizures, the use of search and arrest warrants. Examine how the legal system operates, basic categories of law, the individual within the legal system and the impact of law on society along with major US Supreme Court precedents concerning substantive and procedural criminal law.

    Students will also receive a full campus tour, including the the residence hall (East Hall) and other student life areas. Please note, this is a group visit and will include other student visitors.
